RollUps/Practice – Canberra North

 

The following guidelines have been promulgated for members, associate members and visitors under By-Law 3(F) of the Constitution (“Practice shall be allowed only at times authorised by the board”)

Effective from July 1, 2018:

 

• All greens are closed on Mondays, other than organised events authorised by the Board.  

 

• No roll ups/practice by members, associate members or visitors are permitted on a green while organised Club/Bowls ACT games or coaching classes are in progress on that green.

 

• Coaching activities and supervised social events take precedence over general roll up/practices

 

NOTE: Board Decision of June 25, 2008:

• When more than three players “roll up” on one rink this will be deemed to be a game, and each player shall then pay a flat green fee of $5 per game.

 

• Players are asked to place the money with a completed record slip in an envelope and hand to the bar staff. The slips and envelopes are available at the bar.
